Supporting London’s young designers

London's fashion sector contributes around £8 billion to the UK economy. Nearly 85% of the UK's fashion designers are based in London.

About the programme

Access to new markets for the fashion sector has been designed to support fashion designers in the capital to develop sustainable and successful businesses. Our aim is to promote and market existing designers by helping them find opportunities to access new routes to market within the UK and abroad.

Through this project, East London Small Business Centre will provide

  • Support in exploring new and emerging market opportunities
  • Help with developing a sustainable business
  • Export advice
  • Loans for business expansion
  • Short-term loans to support existing orders
  • Help with trade shows/exhibitions
